Fierce Queers: 3 months somatic program
This three-month program is designed to support you to develop skills for intentional and fulfilling relationships while continually reconnecting with the same group of people, build trust, and explore your unique and fierce queer self.
Throughout the program, we will meet for five Thursday evenings and two full Saturdays. These gatherings will provide opportunities for exploration, somatic learning, personal growth, fun, and the celebration of embodied queerness.

Fierce Pleasure, Fierce Intimacy
Sensing the body and finding pleasure is liberating and serves as a direct source of feeling alive within oneself. Connecting to the sensual body can be a tricky journey, and this group process offers a place to heal and integrate your erotic self with a pleasure- and humor-oriented approach. Over the course of four months, you will be invited to expand your capacity for honesty and vulnerability, learning to find and express boundaries and desires.
Belonging, Attachment and Relational Empowerment
Through the lens of attachment theory, we will examine the roots of our relational patterns, applicable to all kinds of relationships. On one of the long Saturdays, we will visit the Drama Lama, a tool Ayo and Axel have developed over the past few years. To guide you toward healthy and nurturing relationships, you will learn how past experiences with attachment figures shape your present patterns. With an embodied approach, you will be offered tools for relational communication, regulation, and repair.
Embodied transformation through Somatic learning
Somatic methods are at the core of the entire process, and through your body, you will learn to understand the topics you wish to address. Learning to listen to the voices of the body is part of integrating who we are and is essential for developing a compass that guides us toward what we want in life.
Growing up as part of a gender and/or sexual minority can present challenges that leave traces in the body. We often become ready to protect, defend, and move to safer places, meeting the world with necessary fierceness. A significant challenge for all of us is figuring out how to let this layer of protection soften and find a way back to a sense of belonging and connection to ourselves.

About us
We have been in an open relationship for the past seven years and both became interested in somatic practices when we moved to Berlin six years ago. Delving into somatics while learning it as a new profession has been a great pleasure in our relationship. After working one-on-one with many individuals and facilitating a lot of workshops, we felt a desire to go deeper. Through our work, we have recognized a need within our clients and community for a space to practice being in connection with other queer people, to experience intimacy, touch, vulnerability, explore the pleasure body, and receive emotional care. This four-month group program is our response to that need.

Ayo Gry Jonassen, white, danish/berlinish, non-binary trans (they/ he)
I work as a somatic practitioner, workshop facilitator, and art collaborator, and am the co-founder of Skinship_Berlin. My primary training includes Sexological Bodywork, Mind/Body Therapy, and Pantarei. My mission is to foster healthy communities where relational and emotional intelligence are integral parts of our bodies and nature. Pleasure and consent are core principles in my approach, and I am particularly focused on healing wounds related to queer experiences while empowering the resources and knowledge that emerge from queer lives. Additionally, I have a background in climate and social activism, as well as in nature and community building.
Axel (he/him), white, trans, born in Denmark, has been building a private practice as a somatic practitioner since moving to Berlin. For the past three years, this has been my full-time profession. I have trained in Bodywork through the Pantarei Approach and am now entering the third and final year of Somatic Experiencing. I am involved in the Stretch Festival, an embodiment festival for queer masculinities, where I work as a co-curator. Building bridges of understanding between the diverse identities within the queer community holds a special place in my heart. I also have a background in social justice work, centered on better access to healthcare for trans people and other gender minorities.
If you are interested in joining the 3-month group program, please fill out this form, and we will contact you within one week. We would like to have a personal online conversation with each participant before the process begins. During this conversation, we will discuss your motivation for joining and initiate our first dialogue.
Looking forward to hearing from you,
Axel and Ayo
